N.C. Legislative Audio Available at VoterRadio.com

RALEIGH – With the N.C. Legislature back in session to tackle the state’s budget along with other keys issues, VoterRadio.com once again is providing live, gavel-to-gavel coverage of legislative sessions along with making archives of those sessions available for on-demand listening.

North Carolinians across the state and around the globe can tune in for daily sessions or listen to archived legislative audio at VoterRadio.com/legislature.  Podcasts of legislative sessions are also available on iTunes.

“While many North Carolinians are aware of what happens in Washington, D.C., often times we overlook the vital work undertaken in Raleigh that affects us all -- from the schools our kids attend to the quality of the water we drink and the safety of our neighborhoods,” said Damon Circosta, executive director of the N.C. Center for Voter Education, the nonpartisan and nonprofit organization that produces VoterRadio.com.  “By making audio of legislative sessions available, we hope North Carolina citizens will be able to better engage in their state government.”

In addition to covering state legislative sessions, VoterRadio.com produces such programming as its “Judge for Yourself” candidate interview series and “The Voter Update” newsmagazine, along with covering events across the state related to government, politics and elections.
