Pop Quiz: The Council of State

A study commissioned this summer by the N.C. Center for Voter Education finds that North Carolina voters know the fictional star of the hit TV show “24” better than they know members of the Council of State. The data continues a trend uncovered by a 2005 poll from the Center that showed state voters more able to name the “American Idol” winner than they could Council of State officials.
