Evaluating N.C. Judicial Elections
A new report from the Washington, D.C.-based Justice at Stake organization suggests that the fairness and impartiality of courts across America is at risk. But the report also praises North Carolina’s innovative system of public financing for the state’s judicial elections as an example of successfully reducing the influence of special interest money in court contests.
