Efforts to Rein in 'Robo-Calls'
"Robo-calls,” automated telephone calls featuring recorded campaign messages, were widely used in last year’s election.
While these calls are often used for legitimate campaigning and voter education purposes, some leave unclear their true sponsor, or deliberately mislead voters.
