The 'Daisy' Ad (1964)

This 1964 ad from the Lyndon Johnson campaign ran just once, but it did much to play on the fear that his Republican rival, Barry Goldwater, was dangerously hawkish in his Cold War stance. Johnson went on to win the White House and the ad has influenced presidential advertising in the 40 years since its airing.
